Nailed It: Crafting With Wood

This hands-on workshop invites youth to use their creativity and teamwork to give back to the community while earning volunteer hours. Participants will design and create wooden wall art and yard decor using wood, nails, string, paint, and natural materials. No experience is needed — we’ll teach the basics of woodworking and design while encouraging each youth to put their own creative touch on their project.

All items created during the workshop will be donated to Fly The COOP, Inc. and sold at local markets to help fund the organization’s ongoing work in our community. Proceeds directly support youth scholarships, paid internships, and community-based projects in partnership with local schools and non-profits.

This is a meaningful opportunity for youth to learn practical skills, work with their hands, and see how their time and talents can make a real impact.
